M. John Harrison

M. John Harrison is regarded by many as a figurehead of modern fantasy and science fiction, from New Wave to new weird his career spans decades and multiple novels including Climbers (winner of the Boardman Tasker prize), Light, Nova Sing and Empty Space. He has reviewed fiction and non-fiction for the Guardian, Daily Telegraph, Times Literary Supplement and New York Times, and was a judge of the Manchester Fiction prize in 2009.
